Liam brings a dynamic blend of legal experience and communication skills to KCT Legal, having honed his abilities over the past 9 years working under Derrick’s supervision.
Liam’s experience covers a broad spectrum of property and business matters. He has successfully guided clients through a wide range of commercial and residential property transactions (including off-the-plan development projects and subdivisions) and complex FIRB and SRO assessments and investigations. In the business realm, Liam deals with contract drafting and negotiation, dispute resolution and structuring, navigating clients through the intricacies of commercial transactions and handling leasing disputes.
He has experience running cases in the County Court of Victoria and the Supreme Court of Victoria in relation to contractual disputes.
Liam excels at analysing complex legal issues and crafting clear and concise solutions tailored to each client's unique needs. He prioritises clear communication with his clients, ensuring they understand the legal landscape, potential risks and available options. This collaborative approach empowers clients to make informed decisions with confidence.

As a Senior Associate, Liam takes an active role in managing junior lawyers and support staff within the firm. He oversees workflow on complex matters, ensuring that outcomes are delivered to the highest professional standard. Liam is passionate about helping young legal professionals grow and succeed, and he takes pride in creating opportunities for junior staff to expand their knowledge and gain practical experience, offering guidance that builds both technical ability and professional confidence.
Liam holds a Bachelor of Laws from Deakin University.
Outside of law, Liam is an avid gardener who has an interest in English and Australian history and is working to increase his proficiency in Italian. A devoted supporter of the Essendon Football Club and with a keen love of horse racing, Liam regularly attends footy games and racing meets whenever possible.
At home, he shares his life with Shadow, a beloved rescue dog who brings joy and companionship to his household.

Negotiating and advising on the acquisition of an industrial property located in the south-east region of Melbourne's Central Business District for approximately AUD $22 million and advising on structuring, financing and leasing matters.
Leading the negotiation and finalisation of loans for high net worth individuals totalling approximately AUD $110 million.
Delivering end-to-end legal assistance to food and beverage businesses in Victoria, covering structuring, licensing, leasing, compliances, and ancillary commercial arrangements.
Advising and supporting various foreign family groups and investors in relation to their assets and business endeavours.
